Training
is an essential part of each ShawnTech Communications,
Inc. employee's career. Only through ongoing training
can we reach our goal of providing legendary service
to our customers and insure equal opportunity for advancement
for every ShawnTech associate.

Office Engineering and Installation Division |
|
Initial
training consists of both classroom and lab work.
A full day is devoted to transmission principles including
the evolution of the voice network into the integrated
voice-data network. Additional training focuses on
equipment and practices. The hands-on lab work includes
wire-wrap, cable-lacing, stripping methods, ironwork,
cutting, sawing and drilling, plus quality assurance
practices and procedures.

ShawnTech
provides vendor specific training for Department of
Correction Field Engineers and encourages additional
telecommunications training. Of course we also make
sure that all technicians are supplied with the appropriate
tools and knowledge to perform their tasks at the highest
level.
