Q: When is medical/dental coverage effective?
A: Your medical and dental coverages become effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Q: May I take dental coverage and not medical coverage, or medical coverage and not dental coverage?
A: Yes, you may elect to take dental coverage and not medical coverage and you may elect to take medical coverage and not dental coverage.

Q: What will the medical premiums for myself and my dependents cost me?
A: The medical premiums are calculated individually for each employee based on the guidelines from ShawnTech's health care provider.

Q: How can I find out if my health care provider is in the network prior to employment?
A: You may contact ShawnTech's health care provider to verify your doctor's enrollment in the network.

Q: When will my life insurance and ADD become effective?
A: Your life insurance and ADD become effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Q: What is the Health Care Flexible Spending Account?
A: The Health Care Flexible Spending Account allows set pre-tax dollar amounts to be deducted from your salary to purchase health care benefits and/or supplies.

Q: When will my Health Care Flexible Spending Account become effective?
A: Your Health Care Flexible Spending Account will become effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Q: What is the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account?
A: The Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account allows set pre-tax dollar amounts to be deducted from your salary to purchase dependent care.

Q: When will my Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account become effective?
A: Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account will become effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Q: When am I eligible to take vacation days?
A: You are eligible to take vacation days after one year of employment.
